History
In 2025 Nadia Nakai the South African born female rapper released her third studio album called Braggacy. The album come after the tragic loss of her lover Kiernan Jarryd Forbes who is better known as AKA who died in 2023 after a gun shot incident in Durban.
Nadia is known for her club bangers like “Amantombazane Remix” which features
(Riky Rick, Okmalumkoolkat, Maggz, Kwesta, Ginger Breadman, Kid X, and DJ Dimplez) which was certified gold according to RiSA . In 2016 she also had a very successful song with “Ragga Ragga“
(Gemini Major, Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick and Major League).
Enough about her history and past credits lets look at the new album Braggacy.

What’s Dope?
Having a full body of work from an artist such as Nadia Nakai is always interesting to experience.
The track list is extensive enough to give us different side of Nadia.
Nadia is putting on a lot of undiscovered and up & coming musicians.
She shows more vulnerability with feminine energy as she deals with the loss of her partner.
While she in her “emotional” pocket she still manages to bring in bars and raps
What’s Nope
It feels like Nadia is using the death of her partner to get momentum for this album.
Whilst the track list covers various artists and sounds, it feels like it wasn’t curated with the best structure.
There are too many variations in genres one minute its Hip-Hop the next its House, then from Hip-Hop Reggae to Afro Sounds.
The album is missing a lot of bigger names that she previously worked with.
There are no bangers in the album that catches the ear.
Conclusion
Comparing BRAGACCY to Nadia Naked, there is a lot of growth and her consistency managed to get her to over 1 million streams across streaming platforms. And in concluding this blog I would give her a 7 for the album.
